自1996年在湖南大学攻读硕士以来，，，一直从事复或四元数双曲空间相关问题的研究。。。复和四元数双曲空间是爱因斯坦时空数学模子的推广，，，也是秩为一的非紧对称空间中两个主要的空间。。。 随着多复变函数等相关学科开展的需要，，， 复和四元数双曲空间研究近几十年来获得了陈省身、、、Mostow及Thurston等众大都学家的关注。。。 但由于四元数的非交流性和复高维空间理论的不可熟，，，在复和四元数双曲空间理论研究上，，，工具少，，，效果也相对较少。。。
近年来，，， 自力或与相关学者相助获得了四元数双曲空间上刻划离散群单位元素伶仃性的Jorgensen不等式，，，四元数双曲流形上等距群和流形结构的一些特征效果，，，这些效果获得了海内外专家的普遍关注，，，揭晓在 The Quarterly Journal of Mathematics，，，Math. Proc. Camb. Phi.
